Hey guys, this is really getting to me...no one in the registrar's office answers the stupid phone these days.

Anyway, can we just send the amcas printed transcript request by itself, or do we need to also submit a specific transcript request form for the particular university? Thanks.

I am almost positive that you have to request an official one to be sent from every school you did post secondary education at...Turn in the printed request form to the transcript folks at your school...they will send it to aamcas.

You have to follow whatever protocol is required by your institution to have the transcript sent. You must then also have them enclose the AMCAS request form with the official transcript. That's what I did and never had a problem.

Cammy,

Nothing to do with topic, but I recall you getting into BU med school and just saw that you are going to be attending Tufts. What made you choose tufts over BU??????? Just curious what you saw as the ups and downs of each school????? I've had friends consider applying at both and will most likely apply to both when I finish my master's and retake the MCAT one final time to bring up verbal.

I just realized I spelled request incorrectly...gotta start pay attention more often 🙂
