Hi all,

I'm applying for 2008 cycle, and noticed an update on the AADSAS website listing how to prepare for 2008 Cycle. It mentions using Transcript Request Forms and requires your school's registrar to attach these forms to the actual transcript. These forms can be found in the actual application avail. 5/15.

I was planning on applying May 15th-20th... but I have 4 undergrad schools I need transcripts from and I know it will be a pain to get them all. If these forms aren't even available until May 15th, isn't it impossible to have a complete application in the next few days? Am I missing something? Do the transcripts have to come directly from the Registrar, or can I request them in advance to be sent to my home? (in a sealed envelope...)

Thanks!

no its not impossible to submit the application within a few days, you can e-submit the application once it is completed. you have to print out the transcript forms and mail them or take them directly to the registrars office. make sure that you check back with the registrars offices that they actually sent them to AADSAS. it takes something like 4-6 weeks to verify your transcripts.

You can e-submit your application without having your transcripts in. However, your application will only be complete once the transcripts are in and AADSAS has calculated your GPAs.

I wouldn't worry too much, it takes everyone apprx. 4-6 weeks for AADSAS to calculate and work everything out with their transcript. Those few days from 15-20 or even till the end of may aren't critical, you should be fine.
