Quick question about transcripts. I plan on submitting my primary applications in early June, but there is a problem. I am studying abroad right now, and I will not be receiving my grades until sometime in July. My classes for this semester (Spring 2009) will be listed on my transcript, but there won't be grades assigned for them until July. Would this be a problem for my primary application being approved and receiving my secondary applications? I am just wondering because timing is emphasized, and I want to get my applications in as soon as possible. Thanks.

no it wont be a problem other then the fact schools sometimes like to see those spring grades, especially if you are a junior applying. Honestly waiting until july wont kill you but its your choice. Each school will have something different to say. for example creightons dean came to our school to give us a presentation about their school. Someone asked him this question and he said he would rather see someones spring grades then have them apply june 1st if they are a junior. If they are a senior he cares less. Personally Id just apply june 1st then you can always update each school if they want it.

Im in the same situation, but I am a senior. I only have 10 credits this semester so it wont affect my GPA much, if any. Should I just submit in May and update schools when they ask later? What should I do?

If all your pre-reqs are on your transcript now, I'd just submit.
