My school uploaded my transcript today on ERAS. Only issue is my EM rotation (the specialty I am applying to) won't be on my transcript for another few weeks. I realize that the "new" transcript will be uploaded and "overwrite" the old one, but I see that most schools have downloaded already. Should I send an email to programs and let them know that there is a new EM grade on my transcript? I would imagine a PD would like to see a grade within the specialty... but I also don't want to be a pest.

Thoughts?

aaack.. posted in wrong forum - sorry (meant to go in the ERAS forum)

If a new transcript is uploaded, it will be flagged for printing. If your file has already been printed, the new transcript will now be added to it. If your file has not already been printed, then the PD will never see the old transcript. If your application is reviewed before the new transcript is uploaded and rejected (because of lack of an EM grade), then when the new transcript is uploaded the PD will not likely see it -- it will be downloaded by the program but your app will be in the "inactive" pile and hence no new information will be printed/reviewed. This last scenario seems quite unlikely.
