I plan to submit my application as soon as I round up the money. I just wanted to clarify - my courses/grades will be verified by them once I pay them, correct? How do I know if they have received my transcripts? I know my schools have sent them but I don't know if AACOMAS knows/cares if they arrived.

you can call or email aacomas, but I emailed 1st and waited a few days for a response. if you call them they should be able to tell you right away.

They will use your transcripts to verify each and every grade you have put down. They will not submit your application until they verify all grades. Your status page will show that they have gotten your transcripts and then it will show that they have processed your application.

I guess my question really was, do I know they have my transcripts before I pay them? Or do I pay and then find out via the status page? If I understand I guess I can email and ask. I understand very well that they will verify all of my grades using my official transcripts and that they will not submit my app until my grades are verified.

I have not submitted my AACOMAS application yet, but have had my transcripts sent to them. I emailed them and they got back to me in a few days and confirmed they had my transcripts. So, yes you can find out if they have your transcripts before you pay because I did. I would recommend calling though, email takes too long for them to respond. Hope this helps.

As suggested by my SDN Forum friends I emailed last night to ask if my transcripts had arrived. Surprise, surprise, less than 12 hours later I have a response.

well email should work for some of you guys. it didnt work for me. my advice is to just call them...that is...if you can get through to them...if not you can leave them a message...and they got back to me in ONE business day! pretty impressive....well the slowness of their updating abilities is not very impressive though....
