Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone had found problems with getting their transcripts to AACOMAS. I submitted my app back in the first part of August, and they still don't have one of my transcripts! I sent the first copy when I submitted, rushed a second copy in the beginning of September, and rushed a third copy at the end of September - still not showing up as received. Does it really take that long to process transcripts?

I know the transcript for my other school was marked received about 2 weeks after they'd received it (i.e. status updated online on 9/16 as being received 9/5). Is this common? Has anyone else seen this type of delay?

im there with you, my app is on hold because they don't have my summer transcripts. I had them sent them twice....ahhh!

i concur.

it tooks aacomas FOREVER to show that my last transcript, also from a summer class, was rec'd. i am sure things are going to slow down a bit again now, with mcat scores being released. be patient, i would hope after three copies, aacomas is bound to process at least one of those babies!

Keep sending them in. I think I sent them in maybe three times. It does take them awhile to process them. Sometimes the website is not the most reliable. Be viligent. 🙂

Also check if the transcript has your SSN on it. One of mine had only my student ID which is not my SSN and I think that delayed the transcript being matched to my application. Just a thought....

I'm in the same boat. I sent transcripts on the same day to AACOMAS and another place in NJ and they received it and posted it, but AACOMAS hasn't received transcripts for either institution.

Have you called them to see if they actually have them or if there was another error or something??

stupid question but are you sending the transcripte or requesting transcripts from your undergrad institution?

Can you take delievery ie-have your transcript mailed to your home, then forward it?!

I am not sure. I think it has to be sent by the institution though.

I had a problem with a transcript and had the official transcript released to me (sealed with the stamp and signature of the registrar and all that jazz), and then I sent it directly to AACOMAS FedEx overnight with signature required, so there wouldnt be any funny business, and what do you know, it showed up on my AACOMAS 3 days after I sent it.
