Transcripts and other materials you send in

I am kind of freaking out right now since, obviously, the deadline is tomorrow. Because I only decided which schools to apply to before I sent in the VMCAS application, I sent in my trancripts kind of late. I requested a copy for myself, so I know my transcript wasn't mailed until 9/23. There should be plenty of time for the trancripts to arrive at the schools, but I am worried the transcripts didn't get in. In UF's supplemental it shows you whether or not your materials have been received. My GRE scores are in (didn't request them for UF until 9/22), but for some reason my transcripts aren't. And then there's U Penn's supplemental.....I mailed it in along with a check on 9/22, also should have plenty of time to arrive.....but the check hasn't been cashed out.
I am hoping it's because the schools need more time to process everything that people send in, but then again UF supp shows my GRE scores are in.....
I am so screwed if the schools don't get my materials before the deadline....

I can't really comment on the transcripts, although you can call the schools and ask them directly, but I wouldn't worry too much about Penn not having cashed your check. When I sent in my check to defer this spring, it was almost a month before they cashed it. So, just because they haven't cashed it isn't evidence in and of itself that it hasn't been received. I don't think you need to worry, since the transcripts need to be postmarked before Oct 2nd. I don't think they need to be there by that time.
