Transcripts from several universities

I find that it would be quicker for me to graduate if I study at several universities, picking out courses that are of interest to me and courses about which I already have knowledge from experience. It's also a way for me to accumulate several A's

So I would
- take pottery making at a New York college
- take Immigration Law at a local law school that allows this for UG students
- take Ice Hockey at a university in Canada (easy A)
- take phys ed at another university in the Canadian prairies (also easy A)
- study Apartment Management in California
- study screen printing at a small community college
- take Crime Novels at a university in Virginia
- take History at a state college in Kansas
- transfer all these credits to my home university (Ohio State) and graduate from OSU.

I will have a mix of online and summer classes.

But how would medical schools react if they receive transcripts from several universities? Someone said they won't like it. Someone said it doesn't matter to them. Another said they won't know what to make of it, so why bother with you when they have many perfect applicants to choose from.

How are you managing to study at universities in different parts of the country (and in other countries!)? I had transcripts from three colleges and I was asked about it at a few interviews. It wasn't a problem, but it just raised a few eyebrows. Personally, I think it would be a major hassle sending all of those transcripts to AMCAS, submitting all those transcripts to your school.... why not take some of those classes at OSU? Don't be in a rush to graduate college, trust me. Those are good years.

It's one thing to have transcripts from three of four colleges you've attended, especially if you've done things like take an EMT class at a CC, taken college classes in high school, transferred, done a post-bacc, etc. But it looks like you will have like TEN different transcripts! I don't know, this looks extremely sketchy to me. Like, why couldn't you handle the coursework at just one college? Why'd you have to pick and choose? Your AMCAS verification process will be a nightmare! Pick a college that you like in a location you like and stick with it. Enjoy your college experience. There's more to college than finishing quickly and getting easy As.

Well, I spend summers in Canada, so I can take summer classes there. I can take classes online. I know the subject matter already. So I can take one class at the University of Kansas and another class at Cleveland State University online while taking a phys ed class in Canada over the summer. It's just a quicker way to graduate.

If you want to finish your degree quickly, take a heavy course load and summer classes at OSU. It's a really crappy situation you've found yourself in, but med schools would have wanted you to take coursework in the US after completing a foreign degree anyway. I really don't think it will look good to have so many transcripts from so many universities. Also, you have to graduate with a degree from ONE institution--for you it would probably be OSU. There's usually a limit to the number of courses you can transfer to a university that will count towards your degree. For my undergrad it was four.

Four is really restrictive. At many universities, you can transfer more than half the required credits.
