Maybe this is nitpicky, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. For our transcripts, the schools ask transcripts from all insitutions that a student has taken undergraduate and graduate classes. Do I have to include the community college at which my high school provided DE (dual enrollment) classes from? I never physically attended there.

Did you receive college credit w/ that particular university? If so, then I suggest you submit the transcript. I took some DE courses in high school, but my financial circumstances prevented me from paying the extra $$ to actually receive credit for it at the university.

I was in this same boat when applying last year, and I asked the grad schools or departments at each school for their preferences. There were one or two schools that insisted I provide that transcript, but most didn't feel the need to see it. I suppose the easiest route is simply to request copies of those transcripts too, but if the community college charges or it is difficult to get copies mailed out from them, you can always call the schools you are applying to and ask how important it is.

wow, i didn't even think about this until I saw this thread. What about AP credits from highschool? i received 6 credits at my university for passing the AP exam. does this mean i need my high scool transcripts? i know this is probably a dumb question, but I'd rather be safe then sorry 🙂

Definitely not necessary. Pretty much everyone who applies for Ph.D. programs took AP classes, & nobody sends the transcripts.
I'm pretty sure you don't need to send anything from before you matriculated at college. I also didn't bother sending a transcript from the Spanish university where I studied abroad, and no one complained.
