So as I'm getting ready to send in my app in a month when I get my mcat scores (July 6th mcat), I'm a little confused about where to send my transcripts. It seems that some schools allow to you to request that your transcripts be sent directly to the school, while others want it sent to AACOMAS. So, how does this work? If I send it to AACOMAS, does it automatically get sent to each school with my application?

Send it to AACOMAS. The schools will get a copy of it this way. When and if you are accepted, then you will have an official copy sent to your school. AACOMAS will not process your application without a copy of your transcript. Good luck.

+1 definitely send this to AACOMAS, even if you choose to hold off on your AACOMAS until after the MCAT or having to wait on the AACOMAS for other reasons. Mine took 2 weeks to arrive so it is another factor that can slow your application, when time becomes of the essence of getting in.

Send to AACOMAS!
