How long does it wake for transcripts to be updated into AMCAS? I got the confirmation email May 22 that they were sent from my institution and it's June 2nd and it still says not received. If I can't submit first day I might freak out..
 
It usually takes over a week. I know the mind wanders to the worst case scenario, but keep in mind they are receiving thousands of transcripts right now, so it takes a while to register them in the system even though they might have the sitting somewhere.

Also, it's not the end of the world if you're not in on the first day. Schools don't see anyone's app until the end of june anyway
 
I called them today. They said they inputted everything that was accepted by the 28th.... Mine was sent out on the 23rd. Hoping they have it. The holiday and weekend were probably a factor.
 
Mine was sent out by my school on May 16th, marked received May 31st. I think you're okay, it should be marked in a few days.
 
Same problem here. I sent it out on the 22nd as well and haven't received a confirmation.
 
School mailed mine out on the 21st and it still hasn't been marked as received. I want to call them but I already know there is nothing more they can tell me.

Yup, same situation. I called my school and they said they sent it out on the 21st. I'm calling them now to see what they'd say.

Same situation you guys, mine were also confirmed to be sent on the 21st. Hopefully its because of the holiday and they will mark them soon!
 
I sent one if mine on may 8 and they still haven't received it. Could just be that my school is incompetent though.

Please let us know what they say when you call. I'm getting annoyed.
 
Any news you guys? AMCAS still hasn't received mine 🙁
 
Can you not submit until all your transcripts have been received?

Promising news. Hopefully they get mine today as well.
 
Hah! Just got a confirmation email from AMCAS as I was reading this thread. My school sent it on 5/21 and it was delivered on 5/29.
 
Three of my five have made it. And I know for sure one of the other two was sent, as I had a second copy mailed to me.
 
Just to give everyone a heads up my transcript was sent out on May 17th and it was just received by AMCAS today on June 4th.
 
Mine was just marked as received at 5:18PM EST

Just got confirmed, sent on 5/16, received 5/29, e-mail 6/4
 
My two were:
5/16 Sent; 5/31 Receipt Confirmed
5/17 Sent; 5/28 Receipt Confirmed

Of course, I DID put 22037 instead of 20037 as the zip code for the first one... :slap:
 
Coming from the West Coast -
Mailed on 5/20, received 6/3
Mailed on 5/17, received 6/4 (!)
I was in complete panic mode, too, and even bought another official transcript 😳

To all of those out there worrying please don't and I believe your transcripts will soon be marked. If it helps my transcripts were sent from Connecticut and they still took a very long time to be delivered!
 
Just got mine today and will be waiting for another one by the end of the week.
 
Sent by school 5/22, Received by AMCAS 5/31, Marked as Received 6/6.
 
Send by my school 5/30, received by AMCAS 5/31 (rushed it from the west coast), marked receives 6/7
 
My School said they sent out the transcripts on 5/24 but nothing from AMCAS yet. I think Memorial Day may be in play here


anyone in the same boat? I'm upset my application won't be processed on the first day (or the first couple...who knows how long)

same here. sent it on 24th. i think it take 2.5-3 weeks for them to send out those emails
 
From my experience (and I had to send FIVE of them, so I have a descent sample size), it takes between 11-17 days from sending transcripts to confirming receipt. So stop panicking everyone!
 
... my school ( in CT) sent it on may 22st. this is ridiculous that it still has not been received. i've checked and doubled checked with the school that they did everything right.
they are now marking June 4th, but it should have been there before that.
 
If my AACOMAS is any indication, my post-bacc transcript was likely received on 6/3 or 6/4. Not marked as received yet. My undergrad transcript was delivered 5/21 and marked as received on 5/30.
 
I'm starting to freak out but I know its useless. They're just backed up.

I have two transcripts waiting to be marked and it took forever to even get one of them processed. One was sent out on 5/27 from CA and still hasn't been marked as received.

The other one is from Georgia and should be there this week so that won't be marked for a bit 🙁 It took me literally two or three weeks to even get them to process the transcript to be sent out.

Now this has me worried....mine was sent standard, east coast on 5/24.......

I can guarantee you it wasn't sent out on 5/27 because that's Memorial Day. Probably actually went out on 5/28, and if you sent it standard, that's probably 3-5 business days. Probably got there 6/4-6/6.
 
- Sent 5/28, arrived 5/31, marked received 6/6

- Sent 5/31, arrived 6/4, marked received 6/12

- Sent 5/31, arrived 6/4, marked received 6/12

All from east coast, 10-12 days range for me. I'm not sure if it would take longer now that they are dealing with applications, though.
