how long after you send out your transcripts does it take fot amcas to accept them and let you know???

do they email you to let you know they were recieved?????

I think I got an email about a week or a week & a half after I sent mine. I'd say about that long, probably a max of 15 days before I call them. We have certainly seen stories of AMCAS losing people's stuff.

It usually takes about 2 weeks or so, sometimes less. They are supposed to send a conformation email letting you know that they have received any transcripts. However, sometimes they screw up and don't send one, which happened to me for one of my transcripts. If you think they should have received your transcripts, just call them, they are pretty friendly and will let you know.

I requested mine on Friday and it was sent on the same day. I just received an e-mail that they received it.

For both transcripts I requested, it was less than one week from me sending the letter to the school to receiving e-mail notification from AMCAS.
