Ok so I need some advice.

I'm an international student who completed community college in my home country and received qualifications equivalent to Cambridge A Levels. I then moved to Canada where I'm now completing undergrad and was granted transfer credit for first-year bio, chem and calc. I only recently began considering medical school and learned of the possible hassles associated with using credits for prereqs.

So after looking into it, I realized most schools just required upper year courses in the same subject which, for the most part, I have already taken just because I'm completing a biochem degree. But I'm now realizing that some schools only consider my transfer credits at all if they appear on an official transcript and for whatever reason, my university lists transfer credits on unofficial transcripts but not official ones! Now I'm stressing out and don't know what to do.

I'm guessing it will have to be something from my home institution but I was told some schools don't accept foreign transcripts. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I am confused. If you received credit for these classes, then I do not understand why they are not listed as such on your transcript. So were you given actual credit or did you just get "placed out" and were advised to take higher level classes? You need to determine this ASAP

I was granted actual transfer credit and on my unofficial (student's copy) of my transcript/academic report the equivalent courses at my current university (e.g BIO1001) are listed with the grade CR meaning I have been awarded credit. But on my official transcript it just says "Transfer credit awarded upon admission" and it doesn't list the credits. I tried asking over the phone why the transfer credits aren't/can't be listed especially for graduate application purposes but the person I was speaking with was extremely unhelpful and simply kept repeating that they do not include transfer credits on official transcripts. Basically "figure it out yourself". I've sent an email in the hopes of getting a more official response but at this point i'm just stressed and frustrated.
