Transfer Odds to a University?

Here is my academic transcript from a junior college. I want to know the odds of being accepted into MSU, because of my withdrawals and retake.
(due to family problems and circumstances)

Chem 1- B
Chem 2-W
Chem 2- A
Eng 1-W
Eng 1- A
Math-B+
Hist-W
psyc1-D+
psyc1-A retake
Humanities- A-
GPA- 3.67-------This is at the time I apply not including the semester I have left before transfer if addmited

That's a lot of W's and with a D+ your gpa should be a lot lower than a 3.7. Anyways, if you're a Michigan state resident then you should be able to manage to get into MSU since they likely have transfer agreements.

Well I dont think I can have infinite Ws on my undergrad it was just circumstances because of a family death and other issues that I stated in the app. As far as the gpa being a 3.67 I was under the impression that with a retake it replaces the lower grade? help me if im wrong

I suppose he could be you. That would be infinitely worse since, if you were a doctor, you would spend more time making ad hominem attacks on other consultants rather than address the patient's problems.

Your re-take GPA is calculated along with your previous GPA for the course, using AMCAS calculations. That is, the grades do NOT replace each other, and for numerical purposes the re-take is a new course.

For AACOMAS (DO) calculations, if the classes are the same credit and the same name, the new GPA will replace (obliterate) the old one.

ALL college courseworks (CC and 4 year) must be included for the AMCAS GPA calculations.

A 3.67 GPA is fine, but underlying structural issues won't be if you want to become a doctor. Three W's are fine... for now.

Ok so basically I cant afford another W on my transcript 3 is already pushing it, and for the AMCAS the D+ is averaged with the A? Im gonna have to work hard to 4 point most of my classes from here on out to make up for that first year of college. I just hope I can get into the university with these many withdrawls..

University admissions are much more lax than med school admissions.

I'd worry more about your personal statement and extracurricular activities.

What do you mean about my personal statement? How I word it, or it just looks bad?

I wouldn't know what your personal statement look like.

What I mean was that you should have many people read it, revise it, and make sure that it's a good one. Too many applicants gloss over it until they realize that it's the only personalizing factor of a college application which, more often than not, only contains states and doesn't contain any unique / impactful EC's.

...They won't interview you. They're too busy accepting half of the other transfer students in the state with gpa's in the 3.2's to interview you. You'll be accepted though..
