Does anybody know how to transfer the material from the Audio Osmosis CDS to a mp3 player?
I tried to transfer the tracks like normal songs but that doesn't work.
Thanks in advance! :D

If you have iTunes it will convert the CD to MP3 files when you load the disc. After that you can sync & transfer the MP3 files to your player. Takes about 5-8 mins to convert 1 CD. Using iTunes + iPod player works easiest.

Sorry... I really suck at this comp stuff...How do I convert CDs to mp3 format?

Well first, what type of .mp3 player do you have?

If you have the ipod then use itunes, and it will copy the cd tracks and then automatically sync them with your ipod.

If you have a Zune, you can do the same with Windows Media player.

I am not sure about other mp3 players, but converting the tracks to .mp3s or .wavs would be your best bet. Any CD burning software, like NERO, or Roxio can do this.

You have to save the CD to your harddrive first and then you can add the tracks like regular songs.

I have a question about downloading the CD's to an ipod/mp3 player... I picked the option to automatically download the CD's when inserted into the cd drive, but Itunes re-arranged all of the topic titles alphabetically, jumbling up the lectures completely out of order.

Is there a painless way to fix this? Or do i have to delete them all and change options to manage the downloading manually and re-add every single CD?

you can organize by "artist" and itunes will put them in the correct lecture order.

To listen to any specific lecture just "search" for bio6 or orgo2 etc.

Ilisten to AO when running in the morning. I don't know if it's helping a lot but it certainly isn't hurting!

ok cook, thx rhettoric. Its just that it gets annoying to do a search every 2-3 minutes, because their sections are pretty short for each topic, so I'll try the re-arranging by artist. thanks again!

If it's too short you can just search for "orgo" and you'll get all the orgo lectures, etc.

if you're still having trouble getting audio osmosis onto your mp3 player, PM me and let me know what kind of mp3 player you have (ipod, zune, creative, iriver, sandisk, etc). i'm an mp3 specialist at an electronics store so i help customers out with these types of things and would be glad to help out another SDNer!
