hi,
i'm currently a student at nova but I hate it here and am considering transferring to either PCO( school that I should of went to), ICO, and NY.
So I was wondering if anyone has ever transferred what is the process and can you transfer after the first semester or do you have to wait the whole year.

It's EXTREMELY hard to transfer between schools because no two curriculums are the same, you'll probably have to repeat first year. Call the schools you are interested in attending and they can tell you the process. It's different for every school.

The other, related question, is why you chose NOVA and what about NOVA does not meet your expectations. I'm sure any current undergrad students thinking about attending NOVA would want to know.

Suck it up. 3-4 years really passes quilkely....just stick with NOVA, get your degree, then move anywhere you like.

Sorry to hear that! I was going to apply but I received a bad vibe from them. Just something about them that threw me off. I was told my a few colleagues that they hate New Yorkers but thats besides the point...
I would try to sick it out and make the best out it. It is a good school! Perhaps, you will see alot of ocular diseases due to sun damage. If you really feel that this school will not prepare you to become an OD or will cause you to resign then call a PCO, ICO and NY.
Hey its still early in the game and you might feel differently later.
