Transferring Between Pharmacy Schools

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible for a first year pharmacy student at a candidate pharmacy school to transfer as a second year pharmacy student to a fully accredited pharmacy school. Both pharmacy schools are in the same state. Since both pharmacy schools are considered accredited programs by ACPE will the transfer be likely to occur? Thanks for your help.

It is possible (though not likely) that you can transfer, but you will almost certainly have to start over as a first year student. Because pretty much every pharmacy school has a different sequence of classes that students must take in a set order, you will likely have to start over as to be able to take them and still stay on schedule to graduate.
