Just wanted to get a read on how likely it is a transfer is possible from touro montana to any of the new york touro campuses. I know there has to be a drop in the class or something for a seat to open. But if there is, how easy is it to make an internal switch happen.

Transfers between any two medical schools are almost non-existent. The four Toros are individual competitor schools.

You're asking a question that something like "is it possible to transfer between Harvard and Yale, or Yale and ACOM?"

touro montana and the New york campuses are not individual competitor schools theyre all in the same system/application. if it was california or nevada those are different, also on their website they say you can transfer between those three campuses so im just trying to understand how likely that is possible

Yes, we know that. BUT, these schools, and AZCOM/CCOM, the LECOMs etc all compete for the same pool of people. In addition, their curricula are different, do going from OMS1 to OMS2 is simply not possible.

I reiterate, transfers between med schools are RARE

Just to confirm- you are asking if transferring is an option once you've matriculated into TouroCOM Montana? It's not going to happen. This has been attempted by someone I know for very valid reasons and they were denied, even though they had ties to one of the NY campuses after doing the MS program there. The admins don't want to decrease their Montana enrollment.
