Hello all, I have a quick question about transfer gpa when applying to vet school. If you transfer from 1 college to another, does that first college gpa get calculated into the gpa calculation for vet school? So say I had a 4.0 based on 60 credits from my first college, and then had a 3.0 on 60 credits from my second college (place i transferred to) will the gpa for the vet school application be 3.5? Thanks in advance.

If it's all undergrad, then yes. All your undergrad classes get taken into consideration for most schools, no matter where you took them. Some schools don't put much weight on cumulative GPA though.

For college? Seriously, sit down and talk with your academic councilor. How that GPA gets calculated varies from school to school. When I transferred, my old GPA got wiped out as all the classes were counted as transfer credit and didn't have a GPA attached to them at Ohio State.
For VMCAS? It will ask for all those grades and calculate them for you.
For vet school? It depends on the vet school.
