Ok ill cut it to the chase. Im an international student with a GPA of around 3.2 (not that great I know) 3 internships (2 of which were government organization and one was LG- life sciences) and couple dozen hours of volunteer service. Im planning to take the PCATs this september and I have couple professors I asked recommendations for. Im going to be a sophomore this fall and am planning on going to U of the Pacific in CA or Midwestern in Illinois for Pharm D. I couldnt really find any materials on students who are planning on transferring to a 2+4 program and was wondering if you guys could give me some insight to how my chances are. I have some lab experience both in my internships and independent research program I underwent during my freshmen year. Compared to the students who definitely have more under there belt I may sound like an unlikely candidate but I still want to apply and see how it works. I dont really care if I go to a less prestigious pharm school but I would like to be accepted somewhere... Maybe you guys can suggest places that seem realistic. Any input would be much appreciated

(also due to the accelerated pre pharm, I have classes I am taking during fall of 2012 and spring of 2013 to adhere to the pharm D prerequisites. do you think thats gonna be a problem?)

guys... wanna ...you know... help me out here? im dying...lol 😛

Wish I could help, but I know nothing about 2+4 program. You should give school a call to ask any specific question. They usually reply within one business day.

yea, your case is very unique. You need to call up the school. most people here are college grads or undergrads that are going the traditional 4 year route. Sorry for the lack of help but I have no idea how 2 + 4 works. Just call your school
