transferring look bad?

Do you think it would look bad if i transferred from UW-Madison to University of Minnesota my junior year. I'm an illinois resident and thats where I want to go to medical school so do you think they would ask something like..."well why didn't you transfer to an illinois school?"

I think you're reading too much into things.

Med schools won't be all that concerned with why you transferred, just do good at both schools.

They won't care, as long as you continued to do well at your new school. They understand that there may be a variety of reasons for your decision to transfer, many of which would have no impact on your ability to be a competent physician.
