Hi, I’m currently a sophomore in college, and I feel like I don’t fit in at my school. The environment feels cliquey, and I’ve struggled to find the resources and opportunities I need to thrive. It’s challenging being in the same place where I was raised, and despite my efforts, I haven’t been able to grow in the way I’d hoped.
I’m attending my state school, and while it’s affordable, I’ve always dreamed of studying out of state to experience something new. However, I felt pressured to apply to only one university because of cost. Now, I’m considering transferring, even though I only have two years left. Do you think it’s a good idea to transfer at this point in my college journey? What would dental school think of this? Thanks

I don't think most dental schools care about you transferring. The issue is the debt you take before you assume dental school debt. Another issue is the community you need and if it exists at the other school. But in admissions terms, it doesn't matter to us.

Except state residency on your DS application.
