Transferring within Albertsons

I have a question regarding the ease of transferring from one Albertsons-owned entity (i.e. Acme-Savon) to another non-Acme entity. Since most these locations are region-specific, I was hoping someone might be able to answer this question for my friend who is considering leaving a job with a major chain to taking a job with Acme, but is not disclosing that they might move to a completely different region within the next year. Does anyone have experience in this, or does the company support this sort of transition? Do other stores use similar software?
