Transitional Year in Chicago

With Cook County's PGY 2-4 program in mind, does anyone have suggestions on any good Transitional Year programs in the Chicago area? Any opinions would be welcomed. Thanks!

I'm a PA student in Chicago, and classmates have significant others and spouses in medicine; there are approximately fifteen million good hospitals in the area. I have one friend who's an Optho intern, transitioning at a little community hospital down the road from Evanston Northwestern.

It seems like there are lots of choices, and my friend seems pretty unconcerned that her transitional year is not at a super heavy-hitting place.

Isn't County going 1-4? Or is that for the entering class in 2009?

they have 8 1-4 spots, but they still have a 2-4 as well
