Hi!

I have an interview this week for a Transitional Year Program and I'm trying to prepare for questions, but I'm unsure of what they may ask. I can forsee for my Anesthesia interviews that they would ask "Why Anesthesia".....but will they ask "why transitional year?" because that seems harder to answer....and what kinds of other things might they ask? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks

hey, i had a TY interview a week or two back.

i was asked things like:
1) why anesthesia
2) why did you decide to become a doctor (i thought that would stop at med school interviews!)
3) activities, what do you do for fun?
4) why our program over others?
5) where do you want to go for your anesthesia training?
followup to this: would you really want to move twice?

other questions were similar to general ?s-- tell me about yourself, strengths, weaknesses, etc.

hope that helps some.
