(A;B)

A->B
or
B->A

8;14 is 8->14

15;17 is 17->15

14;18 is 18->14

what am i missing from this concept... 'cos i dont get it... (for my own enjoyment)

because (UW) it says for example:
(8;14) translocation moves from 8 to 14 (from the place before the ; )
while in (14;18) it moves from 18 to 14 (from the place after the ; )

shouldnt the (A;B) translocation of anything be in the same direction from A to B... not also from B to A... ?

Unfortunately, I don't think the order of the numbers is supposed to tell you anything. It's just written in numerical order (smallest number first).

I was hoping there would be an easier way to memorize it too.
