what does" transmission date" on first page of amcas mean.?
how long does it take to get a transmission date for any of the designated schools?
i just got verified this monday and there is no transmission date for any of my designated schools, even for schools that i have got secondaries from.

Transmission date is the date when the school downloads the entirety of your application. Schools get a report of who's recently designated them on AMCAS, so they go ahead and send you their secondaries before downloading all your info. Obviously, only schools who do not do pre-secondary screening can do this. Some schools (i.e. Tufts) never download your entire file, instead having you submit a hard copy along with the secondary.

im still a little confused. so when youre active, is the next step processed or verified? whats the difference? how long does each step take? tahnks.
