Trauma Anesthesia

I recently matched in anesthesia and am developing an interest in trauma anesthesia as of now. can anyone (trauma anesthesia fellows??) offer up some insight on what its like (lifestyle), programs with great fellowship training, why you wanted to do it, etc...

Thing is, most trauma happens when I'd rather be at home--nights, weekends. If it's your bag, great. But trauma and lifestyle don't go together in my mind.
