Trauma Center Certification

Anyone know of a resource or where I can find the specific criteria for trauma ctr certification? Our site is undergoing some trauma system changes. Word through the grapevine is that there are a bunch of new things they are looking at that don't sound right to me (ie mandatory lactates on all pts, mandatory imaging studies). Anyone else going through this at their hospital?

Not an area where I have a ton of in-depth knowledge but--

(1) Many trauma system / certifications are state-based, so it matters where you are...
(2) Otherwise the American College of Surgeons is your go-to resource on the matter. Try the 2014 manual "RESOURCES FOR OPTIMAL CARE OF THE INJURED PATIENT"
