Travel for Residency Interviews

Does anyone know of any travel discounts for airlines, hotels, and/or rental cars for students traveling to residency interviews? I just booked my first flight for an interview, and it is costing me over $200 for flight alone. At this rate, I am going to be extremely broke by the time I am done interviewing everywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

American Airlines USED TO have a deal with the AAMC to give med students discounts for residency interviews. The rep I spoke with said this promotion expired in the spring and has yet to be renewed.

It is still good for travel to Step II CS but it's only 5% (?!?):

The AMA can put you up at a couple interviews with docs who are willing to let you sleep at their house. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
