i've had several patients with various organisms in urine and it seems like my attendings are going against what i think are the general guidelines for treating asymptomatic bacturia including neutropenic patients etc etc

just wondering what your experiences are in terms of treating said patients... and also i keep hearing that VRE doesn't cause pyelonephritis... is this true cause i'm not finding much to support that statement from said attendings...thanks

VRE can cause pyelo if the patient has a cath in.
