I haven't been freaking out about much so far, but I have yet to hear from Cornell about an interview (one way or the other) and it's starting to drive me up the wall. Only one person has gotten a tri-i interview so far (congrats to bostonkid), so does this mean that all you guys didn't apply or, heaven forbid, that there have already been rejections?

I wouldn't be asking if it weren't for the fact that the first interview date is fast approaching and the other one isn't too far away either.

Hey Tedrik, I got an interview invitation on the 22nd of September, but the only date that they gave me the option of was October 29. I believe that they will send out the other half for the second date later because of this, but i'm not really sure. Hope this helps ... 👍

i was a little surprised to only see one person with an interview as well. last year i recieved my invitation rather close to the interview day (2 weeks before), though that isn't usually the case. there is one more interview date around november 22nd. the process might be a little slower this year because our the main program administrator is on maternity leave until the end of this month. if you have any questions about the program let me know, i'd be glad to help.

Hmm, are they still giving out interviews for the first session? I have been complete for about two weeks. I'm wondering if thats a little late to be considered for the first interview date.

I was complete on august 30th. leverp, if they give you an invite for the first session, I bow to you.

I hope that they aren't still giving out interviews for the Oct 29th date because I already scheduled Michigan.

My problem is that I scheduled Columbia on 11/19. Though I'll be in the same town, I don't know how I would work around the schedules. So 11/19 wouldn't really work for me, unless they are flexible with their dates. But I guess I'll take it as it comes and worry about it later.

there are only 2 dates at cornell; you can probably reschedule the columbia interview if you want (they have about 8 i believe). in addition, you can probably call cornell and ask them about the status of your application/interview chances, while explaining that you have an interview @ columbia on the same day and may need to reschedule. can't guarentee that they know at this point, but they will contact you as soon as they do i imagine.

Thanks for the advice about calling. Turns out that they sent out the invite on Tuesday and I just haven't gotten it yet. Anyway, hopefully I'll meet you on the 29th 🙂.
