Trick for checking if you passed

I can't seem to find the thread where I thought I read about this...

The idea was that you could go on and try to register for the Step 2 (CS? CK?) again, and the system would tell you that you cannot since you have already passed it.

Could someone refer me to the right thread, or post more info about this trick?

search for the OASIS trick if you go through the ecfmg to register for the tests.
