really tricky situation
okay so in the same group guy and girl became very good friends. guy says they're going around, girl says just friends. anyways they decide not to be friends.
guy goes besrk-threatens suicide. most people think it is attention seeking
guy taken to pyschiatrist (just in case he really is serious)
later guy threatens girl's life
other group members counselling guy since threatening suicide talk him down. pyschiatrist contacted by guy.
guy blames girl 100%

I am the friend in the middle -both guy and girl just good friends
lecturer incharge of this rotation does not know- guy continues to be disruptive and making snide comments.but still chases after girl

should i
a) go to lecturer
b) go to his pyschiatrist who is getting only one side of the story
c) ignore them and move on with life-near impossible

go buy the guy a few round of drinks at the bar.. and then take him back to his pad..

then go over to the girl's place to comfort her through her harrowing ordeal.. 😉

Lecturer in charge of the rotation? I take it that you do not attend a US medical school. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish in your little scenario since the "girl" sounds capable of going to the lecturer herself if the guy is giving her problems and I don't see how you know what the psychiatrist does or does not know about the guy. I would c) ignore them and mind your own business.

RESTRAINING ORDER...Seriously this dude is disturbed and should not be allowed to be a doctor or at least not right now. Sounds like one of them personality disorders. Of course there are a lot of doctors with serious issues.....Oh and mind your own business unless you think either one may hurt someone. No good can come of getting in the middle of this.

I say go with choice c. It's their problem, not yours.

stay out of it... unless the girl doesn't know that the guy threatened her life. US law states that the guy's psychiatrist is obligated to warn her - but given that you're in trinidad (per profile), i don't know what the laws are over there. still, if i had heard of someone (even a friend) threatening another friend's life, i'd make sure the one threatened knew.
