This is from part of a larger problem, but I am just having trouble simplifying one of the steps. Destroyer wants us to simplify:

[Sin(x) - Cos(x)]/(Cos(x) = ?

They come out with an answer:

Tan(x) - 1

How do they simplify that?

Simple. What is sin(x)/cos(x) - cos(x)/cos(x) equal to?
