Are there specific trig questions on the pcat or areas where you need to know trig identities?? I'm borrowing a friend's Kaplan materials who took the course and I know I've read that Kaplan's quant section is crap but seriously there's not a single mention of trig in here or a single problem that has trig functions in it...

I don't remember there being any trig on the PCAT, if there was, I was too rushed to care.

No trig IDs. I suggest practicing the problems in the kaplan book and getting your hands on a GRE practice book too. The math/quant on both are very similar. I found the best wat to study was to just practice doing the problems. Reading about the strategies to increase your speed helps too, but being able to practice those strategies in advance helps you figure out which ones work for you before the test.
