Hello:
A question for the trigger point injectionists out there.
How exactly are you billing for trigger point injections (excluding Botox). That is, does one "unit" refer to the total number of injections or does it refer to the number of muscle groups that are injected. Where I trained, we were billing by number of injections, which has clearly changed. Examples with specific CPT codes would be of great value. Thanks.
