Trinity program 5 years as opposed to 4

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Trinity is 5 years because they don't have a graduate entry program yet while the other universities do.

The 5 year program is undergraduate, for applicants who have two science subjects studied at Leaving Cert level or equivalent. The four year is post graduate and is offered at RCSI, UL and UCD. Try looking up a few of the websites for more info. 😉

Hah! kind of funny. It was only a couple years ago that Trinity was a 6 year program, not 5. the 5 year program is really only 2 years old! The rest of us went through the 6 year program (well, unless you were a direct entrant)

Ah, I guess I was confused by the ABP website, because it states we need a bachelor's degree but I suppose it's just for North Americans? Meh, I guess it doesn't really matter, can't complain about an extra year in Ireland. Thanks for the answers!
