I know that achiever is tough when it comes to PAT, the angles are tough. But does anyone else find the PAT a bit difficult in topscore as well? 🙁

how is everyone studying these angles?!?

I'm having big time trouble with the angles as well. I'm also pretty bad at the hole punches..If anyone has some tricks/strategies..please help!

I'm horrible at the PAT section...so I'm not one to offer any advice, but here's what I do. For the angles, I try to compare them to 90 or 45 degrees to evaluate a rough angle. For the hole punches, you can do a couple of things:

1. The number of holes will be the same as the number of layers of paper through which it is punched

2. Check the symmetry of the fold

3. If a punch is on the perimeter of the square, then check for a hole in the perimeter of the square and the same thing goes for core punches. I can usually eliminate a couple of the wrong answer choices.

If you find any tips/tricks, please let me know!

pm your email address, i can teach you all tricks for hole punchinag and also buy crack dat pat and use dat pat this way you get 15% off instead of 10%.

Well for the whole punching what I did was make a bunch of squares of papper and drew circles in them and grabbed a whole puncher. I sat down and really took my time with an achiever test folding the papers the way the screen showed it and then punching with the whole puncher. Helped me out quite a bit. I think its worth the try anyways...Gives you a better idea in your head of how the things work...kinda like messing with molecular models in chem..

The angles aint so bad...Just try to look for the smallest or the biggest angle..
I thought the Barons book had good techniques to start you off with the PAT. the practice section was not the best though...had some errors and whatnot.

Everything else seems easy. i really think that painted cubes section is the hardest! i always seem to miss one. i think, for every number i count, i should add one since im always missing one cube.
