Can anyone tell me if Trade Names are on USMLE

I'd like to know too. I know that generic names will be what we should know and learn, but will a question ever give the trade name in parenthesis after it?

No, you don t. There was not even one trade name asked in my exam. And i ve never heard of anyone mentioning it.

Oh God no. Trade names are the devil.

Think about it, though. Trade names change over time and in different countries. Doesn't seem like fair testing material.

There were a few questions on my step2 exam with a mention of trade names, although, they did mention the generic name alongwith.
