how common is it for dental applicant to be rejected and to try again in the next cycle?

if it is common, is usually because they didn't get into any schools or the school of their choice, or something else completely?

on an unrelated note....

anyone have any tips on doing well in Orgo?

(I'm a little nervous that my community college courses arn't indicative of what university courses are like)

I didnt get in on my first attempt and reapplied.

OG ... just like any other class ... keep up with the day to day work and you should be fine.

i didnt get in my first time, but i applied in october (very late) and only to my two in-state schools. my second time i applied early (June), retook my DAT and scored 1 point higher, and earned a Masters in Science. i was given multiple interviews, but declined them after getting accepted to my #1 choice. there is hope, but dont sit around for a year, be productive!
