Hi all,

It's one of my first posts here, but I could use some help. I've been doing a lot of research into medical schools and where I should apply. Here are some stats

CA Resident
Asian
3.955 cGPA
3.95 sGPA

507 MCAT (I believe this is roughly 29-30? 76th percentile)
129 chem/phys
125 CARS
126 psych
127 Bio

Dean's List/Chancellor's list all 4 years
Summa Cum Laude
Phi Beta Kappa
Multiple scholarships from school and outside school
Worked with counselling center as peer mentor
Clinical experience (400+ hours)
Leadership experience (counselling, clinical, recruiting)
avid photographer
musician (flute-11 years, piano-since 6 but on/off, vocal)
3 years of research experience (thesis, conference - best presentation, paper in review)
Outside volunteer (red cross, nursing home, non-profit organization for children, soup kitchen)
Honors Program at University

*I'm probably forgetting some stuff this is off the top of my head*
I also have strong LORS from nurses, PI, psychologists, and professors.

My list so far
Central Michigan University College of Medicine
Drexel University College of Medicine
Eastern Virginia
Florida Atlantic (Schmidt)
GW University
Howard
LLU
Meharry
Morehouse
New York Medical
OHSU
Penn State
Rosalind Frnaklin
Commonwealth
Univ of Miami SOM
Uniformed services
Arizona - Phoenix
Arizona - Tucson
UCSD (reach school)
UCD
UCI
UCR
U Colorado
Hawaii Burns
Univ of Illinois at Chicago
Univ of Utah
Univ of Washington SOM
USF Health Morsani
Virginia Commonwealth

I know my MCAT isn't the best and the race/state don't help so I'm really trying to look at schools that are more OOS friendly and with MCATs usually not more or less than 2 of my own average.

Thanks

edit: I've removed OHSU

You have many OOS public schools that accept few non residents with your MCAT so you can delete U Washington, Utah, USF, Hawaii, Colorado, OHSU, Florida Atlantic and Central Michigan. Since you are not URM you can delete Howard, Meharry and Morehouse. You can add schools such as:
Temple
Jefferson
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Georgetown
St. Louis
Creighton
Medical College Wisconsin
Tulane
West Virginia
University of Nevada (both schools) and Roseman. 2 of these are new schools that will be accepting applications sometime this year.

What school did you go to? If you got that GPA at a competitive CA school (UCB, UCLA, etc), do you think you can do better on the MCAT? If you think that's possible, I'd consider waiting a year... (If you did your best on the MCAT and don't do well on standardized tests, then ignore. But I'd expect a much better score with that GPA.)

I went to ucr. Honestly, I was scoring 29-31 on practice tests. I want to say I can do better but idk if I can. I've always struggled with comprehension. I'm also scared if I somehow raise cars, the phys section or others might go down...

That's fair. Unless you have a totally different strategy or didn't study very much, it's pretty reasonable to go forward with your application as is. I can't help with the list, sorry!
