how hard is it to get into umsl optometry school?
i have about a 3.3 cumulative and 2.9 math/science gpa. i going to shadow a couple of optometrists and have a lot of volunteer hours at a hospital in different divisions. i studied hard for the oat but i did not do well on the computer version and i got a 310 overall. i like paper and pencil better. im not a native english speaker, i came to the u.s. when i was about 11 years old. do you think i have a good chance to get into umsl optometry school?

You're not out of line. Discuss this with the people at the school. They will probably recommend you take some more science classes and do well in them to demonstrate that you can handle it. Your volunteer work will go a long way, and I do encourage you to spend some time shadowing optometrists. Good luck. 🙂
