Hello,
I searched the forums and faq and couldn't quite find an anwser to my question, and I figured someone here had to know! I know that TUCOM (CA, NY and NV) all have a math requirement. It says you need to take 3 hours of calc or stats to apply. My question is, I have already taken three calc classes, and a stats class ( all standard pre med at my school). What I am wondering is if I only need 3 hours ( I believe that is what it says in the app) is that only one class? And if so, do I get to choose what class I list on my BCP gpa, or is it automatically done. Because in one of the classes I actually got a C- ( dumb freshman mistake, should have taken a pre-cal course first) but got B's in the other two and in my stats class, so I wouldn't want the low grade to affect my gpa. Finally ... if I do get to chose which one to include, would it be worth retaking the class I got a C- in ( as I was going to for ACMAS apps anyway) get an A in it ( I know I can a year later) and include that one? Thanks.
