Hey Guys, I know that there are other posts that deal with osteopathic college waitlists but I thought I would start one for TUCOM-NV. Well, basically I found out that I was waitlisted on 5/7. Later on Roger told me that I was in the top-third of the list. I have been waiting ever since and the wait is driving me crazy.

The last time I spoke to Roger, he told me that about 10 students from the waitlist were accepted. Does anyone know if more students were taken since then? Also, are there any more students who were accepted and are going to reject the spot?

Anyhow, I am sitting here waiting and hoping for the call from Roger and any info you can give me will be great. Thanks

I don't have any direct answer to those questions; I can only tell you what I know. At least 3 of the acceptances have been right here on SDN. (Myself, RWilky63, and lateapp.) I was accepted on the first day of waitlist processing (5/21). I was informed there are about 190 people on the waitlist, and the top 3rd of that is approximately 63. If 10 offers have already been made, then I think you can afford to be patient and I hope you get your call soon. After all, you had a late interview...I've been on the waitlist since March, so you can hang on a while more! 🙂

From what I've been reading, the offers have been trickling out - essentially, just whenever a seat becomes available. The acceptees get 2 weeks to make their decision, from the date of their acceptance letter. For me, that was a week ago. So if the other people who were offered acceptances decide to go elsewhere, then their decisions are due soon, and that will open up spots in the near future.
