Does anyone know if Touro requires a letter from an Osteopathic Physician? On the original letter they sent with the secondary application it listed MD or DO. After I sent in my secondary, I received a postcard that said I still needed a letter from a DO (no exceptions.) Why does it say MD or DO originally and then DO required?

Thanks

TUCOM does require a letter from a D.O. You should call the Admissions office there if you have further questions....they seem to be really nice. I have an interview there at the end of the month! good luck!

Hi,
I recieved my postcard too. It said D.O. in print but someone from the admissions office wrote in ^or M.D. in pen beside it. So thats what they meen. They may have just forgotten. Don't worry too much about it. I called them before and they said either MD or DO.

i was accepted there a couple months ago w/o a D.O. letter. I had a M.D.'s.

I dont think they would change their policy in the middle of the application cycle.
