Already dropped. G'luck.

I chose to keep mine and withdraw from another school. But I have a lot of waitlists that i'm crossing my fingers to get off of and if i do, I'll drop it asap.

I withdrew mine about a week ago...the weird thing though is I received some for of communication from all my other withdrawals, whether it was an email, snail mail, or refund of my deposit...but i havent gotten anything from Tufts yet. Anyone else experience this after you withdrew? Anywho, good luck to the OP!

Withdrew... Painful... Great school.
Good luck.

By the way, one of my interviewers told me that Tufts' yield is about 33%, which (obviously) means that two out of every three acceptees withdraws. I assume that means there's also a reasonably high level of waitlist movement. Good luck - it seems like a fun school.

I withdrew too, and haven't heard a thing from them, so maybe they're just slow...

i withdrew a while ago, got a letter about 3 weeks after and a check followed 2 weeks after that (give or take.

thanks for the responses everyone...appreciate it. bump

Just sent my withdrawal email *sniff sniff* :'(

I chose Tufts over NYMC and NJMS.

Nothing against those two schools but being from Florida, I liked Boston better than Valhalla and Newark and could really see myself going to Tufts for four years. Most people love the school and its location but hate the fact that its so expensive. I agree, financial aid at Tufts leaves a lot to be desired but its one of those decisions everyone just has to make for themselves. I truly think I'll be happier at Tufts than at NYMC and NJMS so I'm willing to make the extra loan payments to be able to go there. My cousin is a 2nd year dental student there now and she loves it.

The ONLY thing that might keep me from matriculating there this Fall would be if I get accepted by MSSM or Einstein (two schools I also fell in love with) and they offer me some really sweet financial aid packages that I just couldn't ignore.

bump..............................

I will be withdrawing from the Tufts waitlist. Good luck to everyone vying for a spot.

thanks for the posts! please keep em coming...

Ahhhhh!!! Guys, I can't believe I just got pulled off the Miami alternate list!!! Growing up in Miami, I've wanted that school my entire life. I really thought it wasn't going to happen since my file was complete in October but they waited until April to interview me and then only to put me on the alternate list. I thought my chances of coming off that list were ZERO. There's just no way I can turn it down now. 😀 I'll be releasing my Tufts acceptance soon so that one of you on that list can get called up! Enjoy it, Tufts is an AWESOME school in a great town.

Hi. I'm withdrawing so hopefully one of you guys will get my spot. Best of luck! :luck:

I'm keeping my acceptance, but waiting for waitlist movement at USC...
