Tufts acceptances today?

Anyone know when the first round of letters go out from Tufts? I heard a rumor that they went out today.

The Tufts site says that everyone interviewed before Dec 2 will receive notification before the end of December. That could be anytime within the next 3 weeks I guess, but for some reason the date Dec 15 is sticking out in my mind. Maybe it was mentioned at the interview about when we could expect a decision. Or perhaps it was when decisions would be sent out. It seems reasonable as we were told that everyone interviewed Dec 2 and before would be in the comittee review that would take place before the holiday. However, they also said that the majority of people would be defered for the spring decision date, since that is when most of the class positions will be offered. I don't know if that's the information you were looking for, but that's all the speculation I have to offer 🙂

for fall interviewees (12/2 and before), the adcom said they would meet 12/9, so we should hear soon. they did also say that they were going to be "prudent" about their acceptances and that many would get "delayed decision" i'm anxiously waiting too...an acceptance would be an AWESOME christmas present=)

really?? i did not hear that they were being prudent about their acceptances. did they tell your group anything about numbers/percentages to refelect that???

I received my acceptance today. So, they probably went out on Thursday or Friday.

My friend T.U. just got her acceptance letter today too!

Very happy for her...

The letter was dated 12/15 tho.... I guess they were assuming she would get it on Monday and not today.

I got mine yesterday (Sat.) also. I live right outside of Boston, so it didn't have too far to travel. Postmark was Fri 12/12.
