GC. But does it matter at Tufts? I think all that matter is 1.LUCK 2.Hardwork and 3.Patience 🙂
 
Thanks for quick reply.......but having a GC makes a difference in Tufts as they call only GC holders.......

Let me read their requirements, I swear I did nit even read/remember about GC thing on their website(if there is any🙂
 
It is not written anywhere, but they doing this from past 2 years......🙁. Hope this year may be they give call to visa holders......i am waiting for their call:xf:

any08, are you really sure about this ? if this is correct then its really worrisome. All those who have recieved the call, firstly, Congratulations, can you guys share, if possible, are you citizens or PR's, please?

Iam a GC holder but I dont think TUFTS consider that since they did not require a copy of the GC or US passport for application (as I remember)..So how they could tell if the applicant is a GC holder or not?😕

from my perspective, they don't consider gc or citizen things becasuse one of my friend she has gc but did not get the invite
 
Not all GC holder got invites, but the thing is who got invites they all are Gc holders......this is what i have observed from last 2 years....
 
Last year,in the batch I interviewd, we had couple of applicants who got invites,but didnt have GC. Their resume was very strong,in the sense they had good research experience or something different to offer in their SOP. Its a different matter that they got accepted elsewhere and didnt come here. Not true that only GC holders get invites.

This shows that majority ones called are mainly GC holders, Visa holders only those very exceptional...

well..every batch has only 5-6 applicants..so then the ratio makes it a big difference,doesnt it?And I am talking of only the batch I interviewed with.

Yeah, I thought there was only one batch, wasn't sure if tufts has multiple batches for interview. Thanks for the encouragement though.

I don't think so. Not to me at least. They don't respond to phone calls or emails.
 
Does anyone know if any interviews left? I called them to ask about my application status as they notified that they didn't receive my NBDE scores. When I asked her about IVs she said program director doesn't allow her to tell about it! I feel they are done😕

they have multiple batches of interviews, only 1 batch invites are out yet
 
I also come to know that tufts have multiple batches of IV. They should be sending more IV's as they still have a deadline approaching. I also asked about my application completion status, but no answer. Hope for the best!

No, they do dont send notification of complete application. They only send you an email if something is missing.. Good Luck to you guys for getting an interview!

they only said they are going to interview two batches. The sept 12 batch and the sept 27...and they said the acceptance will be out by second week of october.

I received an email last week, saying that, they can invite more batches based on the results of the sep batches...
 
DId anybody who was interviewed at Tufts hear back?
