Has anyone recently been invited to an interview at either of these schools?

Nope. My application has been complete since August! I called BU and the admissions woman said it's completely normal to hear no word from them well into Jan/Feb.

I haven't heard a peep from either. Although I'm still trying to remain hopeful.

Mmmh, I did not apply to Tufts, but I interviewed at BU in October, and I was accepted on Dec 1st.

I got an interview at Tufts this past Wednesday for the 2nd week in January. I also got an interview at BU for March 2 (notified in November). I got accepted elsewhere and am cancelling the interviews so there should be an extra opening on these dates!

I interviewed at Boston in Oct. and I was accepted on Dec. 1st. When I called them about my acceptance deposit, I was told that Ms. Weber was out of the office until Dec. 15th. Also, they stated that there would be no updates to prospective student statuses until she returned. I hope this helps!

just so you have another response, i turned my application in on june 1st to aadsas, it was sent out july 17th. i heard from BU in october for an interview (which i had on nov.7). i just heard earlier this week for an interview from tufts in early january (though i wont be going). best of luck to everyone!

I submitted my application in August, heard from BU in October for a Jan interview. I got an email last week from Tufts and my interviews are back to back. Hopefully this will give me a good opportunity to compare the schools and get a good feel for Boston.
